I need your help. This information is important for you to know. President Obama and the Democrats on Capitol Hill, led by Nancy Pelosi, and special interest groups are working tirelessly to undermine the current healthcare system and replace it with a "government-run" nationalized healthcare system.
Eventually, this will lead to government bureaucrats and politicians in Washington dictating to you what coverage you and your families have.
President Obama is constantly on television making promises to us about what his healthcare reform plan will or will not do. These promises, however, are broken in the legislation the House is getting ready to pass, H.R. 3200. We must defeat this bill and we must defeat it now.

H.R. 3200 does allow illegal immigrants to be covered under their government-run plan, and it will cause many of you who have good health insurance and want to keep it, to be forced into the government option. I have been leading the fight to stop this and force the Democrats to change the bill.

I also offered an amendment to put in language that guarantees you the right to keep your existing health insurance if you want it. This is what President Obama and the Democrats have promised and I want to make sure it's in the bill. My amendment was defeated by partisan vote of 32 -26. The Democrats have total control of both Houses of Congress and the White House, and they are doing their best to radically change the course of America.
