SILVER SPRINGS, FL., OCT. 30, 2006 – The Florida Times-Union has endorsed the re-election of Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala). The Times-Union cites “Stearns’ political experience, insight and influence." The endorsement adds, Stearns has “invested a decade in securing a veterans' cemetery, has tackled consumer issues involving spyware on computers and supports creating best practices for measuring video game violence. Stearns is more than qualified for another congressional term.”
