OCALA, MAY 2, 2008 – “I deeply appreciate the grassroots support from the people of the Sixth Congressional District for my re-election effort,” stated Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala). “I thank them for taking the time to fill out and submit these petitions on my behalf, and I believe that it reflects strong support for my record of accomplishments here in north central Florida.” Stearns is very accessible to those he represents, having held over 500 town meetings and by sending members of his staff to different communities throughout the district to offer assistance.
