GROUP PRAISES STEARNS FOR HIS RECORD IN SUPPORT OF FREE ENTERPRISE

OCALA, JULY 1, 2008 – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed the re-election of Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Ocala) in Florida’s Sixth Congressional District through its political action committee, Save America’s Free Enterprise (SAFE). Stated SAFE Vice President, Dan Danner, “Your re-election is not only critical to the small-business owners in your district, but also to protecting free enterprise across America. On behalf of all NFIB members, thank you for your service and congratulations on earning the endorsement of small business.”

“I owned a business and I understand the role of small businesses in creating new jobs,” said Stearns. “It is vital that Congress take steps to allow small businesses to grow and prosper, creating new economic opportunities throughout the nation. I am proud to receive the support of small businesses and I look forward to building upon my strong record of support for free enterprise.”
