OCALA, FL - Today, U.S. Representative Cliff Stearns (R-Sixth) endorsed State Representative Kurt Kelly for Congress in the Eighth Congressional District. Said Stearns, "Kurt Kelly is the only candidate in the race who has demonstrated a true commitment to conservative principles through his record in the State Legislature. Kurt is a small businessman, a family man, and active in central Florida communities. I have worked with him on many activities and issues in the region, and I have seen his leadership qualities and common-sense approach."
"With the worst economic situation in generations, we need leaders who will fight for accountability in Congress and prevent the government from expanding its control over all aspects of everyday American life," added Stearns.
